About the event
The Problem: We’ve all been there: You finish a sparring match, tired and sweaty, knowing you got hit but unsure how or why. Or perhaps you watch footage of your tournament matches only to see a blur of action, struggling to pull out meaningful lessons beyond "I need to be faster." Without a structured way to analyze our performance, we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes.
The Solution: In this workshop, we treat the fight not just as an athletic event, but as a data set waiting to be decoded. You will learn how to break down exchanges using analytical frameworks, moving from subjective feelings to objective facts. We will identify the difference between a "Technical Error" (your hands were low) and a "Tactical Error" (you chose the wrong moment), and give you the tools to fix both.
What You Will Learn:
The "Fact-Finding" Protocol: A step-by-step method to determine what happened.
The 4 Pillars Framework: How to diagnose what the failure was. Structural (mechanics), Tempo, Cover, Line, Measure, Tactics, or Strategy.
The "Robot Response": How to identify your own automatic habits and subconscious triggers that opponents are exploiting.
From Analysis to Action: How to take a specific mistake from a match and write a "Prescription" drill to fix it in your next training session.
Video Lab: We will apply these tools in real-time by analyzing footage, teaching you how to watch a fight with a coach's eye—replaying the same exchange with different "lenses" to catch details you missed.
